Jewellery Information and Care
Sarah Nadine Jewellery
14K and 18K Gold
Our 14K and 18K Gold items are designed for everyday wear, but care should still be taken. These are stamped with 14K or 18K. Solid gold is a precious metal that will not oxidize or discolour. 14k solid gold is also an active lifestyle's best friend: it scratches less and doesn't bend or wear out as easily as other gold materials. 18K gold is softer than 14K gold and requires a more delicate wear.
Our pearls are freshwater and their shape varies between each pearl, no two pearls are the same.
Our precious and semi precious stones are picked for their beauty, but some colour variations may be seen between items since no two stones are the same. These stones are secured with claw or bezel settings, and should not fall out unless excessive wear occurs.
Please note due to our pieces being handcrafted, their polish and surface may not be perfect.
Care Instructions
We recommend that you treat each piece of jewellery with care as even the highest quality materials can snap or break if handled aggressively. Extreme bending, force or rough handling is not a manufacturing fault and Sarah Nadine Jewellery will not be responsible for replacing mishandled products.
14K and 18K Gold
To maintain the shine of your 14K and 18K solid gold piece, scrub it lightly with a soft-bristled brush using warm water and detergent-free soap. Then, buff gently with a clean cloth. Store your pieces in a safe, dry place when not worn to protect them from the elements of daily exposure.
925 Sterling Silver
Your jewellery may be more vulnerable to tarnishing in water and humidity. Therefore, sterling silver jewellery should be kept in a cool, dry location like a container, jewellery box, or airtight bag.
If tarnished, apply a small amount of our silver jewellery cleaner to a soft brush. Gently rub the silver with the cloth several times. Rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water. Pat dry and shine your silver with our polishing cloth. This will remove the tarnish and restore shine.
Gemstones
To keep gemstones clean and shiny, scrub lightly with a soft-bristled brush, warm water and detergent-free soap. Avoid chemicals or excessive temperatures when cleaning. Store in a safe, dry place when not worn to protect them from the elements of daily exposure.
Some gemstones are softer and more prone to wear than others, keep this in mind when purchasing for everyday wear.
